How is Mial Instruments Pvt. Ltd. gearing up to address the challenges of inline instrumentation of ultra-modern HVAC-R plants?
With rapid advancements in HVAC-R technology, modern plants demand highly accurate and reliable inline instrumentation. We are addressing this by offering advanced flow and BTU meters compliant with international standards such as ASHRAE, ensuring accuracy, low pressure loss, and long-term stability/repeatability.
Our instruments are BMS/control systems-ready, support modern communication protocols, and are supplied in plug-and-play configurations with individual wet calibration certificate. By combining robust technology with close collaboration with consultants and system designers, we ensure our solutions meet the requirements of today’s ultra-modern HVAC-R plants.
What are your most recent offerings for the Indian market?
We have recently upgraded our existing electromagnetic and clamp-on ultrasonic flow meters – and introduced next-generation models with built-in data logging capabilities. In addition, we have expanded our portfolio with the launch of ultrasonic level sensors and radar level meters, addressing a wider range of industrial and HVAC applications.
Our R&D team is actively working on insertion-type electromagnetic flow meters, and we are confident of launching this solution soon to meet the growing demand for flexible and cost-effective inline instrumentation in the Indian market.
Do you support customisation of products, if so, then to what extent?
Yes, we do support product customisation. While most industrial flow meters are proven products with standard specifications, we customise them based on specific application requirements. This includes selecting different electrode materials to suit the process fluid and customising liner materials based on customer preference, operating conditions, and application needs.

How is your response to our ‘Make in India’ programme?
We strongly support the ‘Make in India’ initiative. Our products are engineered, manufactured, and calibrated in India at our ISO-certified facility, in line with international standards. By strengthening local manufacturing and R&D, we ensure faster delivery, better customisation, and reliable after-sales support while contributing to India’s self-reliance in advanced instrumentation.
Do you have an R&D set up in India to address the Indian-environment-specific challenges?
Yes, we have got an inhouse R&D team to develop our products meeting international standards.

How do you support the latest trend of plant data integration and (online) remote control?
We support the latest trend of plant data integration and remote monitoring by offering smart instruments with built-in data logging and digital communication protocols such as Modbus. Our flow and energy meters are BMS- and SCADA-ready, enabling real-time data access, centralised monitoring, and remote diagnostics.
This helps plant operators improve energy efficiency, performance tracking, and preventive maintenance through seamless online integration.
Which segments of the Indian HVAC industry are you targeting to actively cater to in 2026?
In 2026, we plan to actively cater to commercial buildings, data centres, hospitals, pharmaceuticals, Airports , district cooling projects, and large industrial HVAC installations. These segments demand high accuracy, reliable energy monitoring, and seamless BMS integration, where our flow, BTU, and level measurement solutions add strong value.

What kind of quality assurance on products do you offer?
We follow a strict quality assurance process across design, manufacturing, and testing. Every flow and BTU meter undergoes individual factory wet calibration and functional testing and is supplied with a calibration certificate and test report. Our products are manufactured in an ISO-certified facility and comply with relevant international standards.
The successful execution of prestigious projects such as the Burj Khalifa itself is a strong testament to the quality, reliability, and performance of our products in demanding applications.
How is your post-sales pan-India service network?
We have a strong pan-India post-sales service network supported by trained service engineers and regional partners. This enables us to provide quick installation support, commissioning, calibration, and after-sales service across the country.
What would you like to communicate to your prospective customers?
We would like to assure our prospective customers that we offer reliable, accurate, and future-ready instrumentation designed for modern HVAC and industrial applications. With Make-in-India manufacturing, strong R&D, proven global references, and dependable after-sales support, we aim to be a long-term partner in improving energy efficiency, performance, and sustainability of their plants.
