Arbonia, a Swiss building equipment supplier to acquire Termovent Komerc.
Termovent is a Serbian manufacturer of air handling units and clean rooms. It specialises in customised ventilation units with specific cleanroom expertise for hospitals, the chemical industry, and the pharmaceutical sector.
Termovent is headquartered in Belgrade, with the factory around 250km to the east in Kladovo. The current management will remain in place, along with the 190 employees.
The acquisition will expand Arbonia’s HVAC division by extending its products into Eastern Europe and widening its expertise in indoor air quality, especially cleanrooms.
Arbonia is listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange and is headquarters in Arbon, in the canton of Thurgau. The group is active worldwide with its own distribution companies, offices and partners in more than 70 countries. Its main production sites are located in Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Poland, Russia and Slovakia.
