Camfil India has opened its new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Manesar. This strategic move marks a significant milestone in Camfil India’s journey, reflecting its commitment to meeting the growing demand for high-quality air filtration solutions across various industries.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of Christian Kamill, Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Sweden, who attended as the guest of honour. Mark Simmons, CEO of Camfil Group, emphasized the importance of this development, stating, “The inauguration of the Manesar facility aligns with Camfil’s long-term strategy to expand local production, elevate product offerings, and adopt cutting-edge technologies. By delivering high-quality, energy-efficient, and sustainable solutions, Camfil India aims to strengthen its role in advancing air quality standards.”
The new Manesar facility significantly boosts production capacity, especially for high-efficiency filters designed for Air Handling Units (AHUs). This enables Camfil to better serve the growing market demand for superior air quality solutions in HVAC systems.
As part of this expansion, Camfil India will manufacture minipleated HEPA filters, also known as Megalams. Designed and built using advanced equipment and scanning technology developed in Camfil’s R&D centers, these filters deliver exceptional performance and energy efficiency. These innovations cater to the needs of industries such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and microelectronics, setting a new benchmark for sustainable and high-performance filtration solutions.
The Manesar facility is fully aligned with India’s adoption of the ISO 16890 standard, which evaluates air filter performance.
