Juan Gomez-Sanchez has joined Whirlpool Corporation with more than 27 years of experience in information security, including roles at Delta Airlines, CheckFree Corporation (now Fiserv), and Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise.
Commenting on his new engagement, Gomez-Sanchez said, “It has become ever more important to understand cybersecurity, crisis management, physical security, and how all of that relates back to the business, so we can perform security at the speed of business. That’s my function; to figure out how to mature security capabilities and work with the team and the organization to elevate our capabilities and function.”
Expressing their expectation, Dani Brown, Whirlpool Corporation’s Chief Information Officer, said, “We look forward to Juan and his team driving our global security posture in this very important area.
