Trane Technologies, a global climate innovator, has appointed Melissa Schaeffer as its new Member of the Board. Schaeffer will serve on the Audit and Finance Committees of the Board of the Directors. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Indiana University and a Master of Business Administration from Villanova University.
She currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., leading the company’s worldwide financial and transactional business services organization. Schaeffer also serves as a Board Member and Audit Committee Chair for several of the company’s largest strategic joint ventures.
Prior to joining Air Products and Chemicals in 2016, Schaeffer served as global director of internal audit and enterprise risk management for Trinseo, and also spent several years with Ernst & Young working with a variety of companies on business strategy and transformation.
