Hisense India has appointed Pranab Mohanty as its CEO. Mohanty; an engineer by profession and also an alumnus of IIM Calcutta and INSEAD Singapore; will look after implementing the strategic initiatives of the company in India along with focusing on its expansion in the country.
Hisense, with its presence in 130 countries, offers refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners and other electronic items. Aspiring to become the most reliable brand in the world with more than a century of brand heritage, it aims to continually pursue scientific and technological innovation in hopes to improve overall quality of life and bring happiness to millions of families.
Commenting on Mohanty’s appointment, Steven Li, MD, Hisense India, said, “His extensive experience and knowledge of the industry will be invaluable to the company as we continue to expand our business in India.”
