S. HÄGG LILJEDAL ASSUMES THE ROLE OF ATLAS COPCO’S SVP & CCO

She held several leading communication roles in many different kinds of companies…

Atlas Copco, a global industrial group founded in 1873 in Stockholm, has appointed Sara Hägg Liljedal Senior Vice President (SVP), Chief Communications Officer (CCO) and a Mmember of its Group Management. She will assume her new role on February 1, 2022. Liljedal is a Swedish citizen with a degree in Journalism and Political Science from Stockholm University, Sweden.

Liljedal joined Atlas Copco in February 2018 as Media Relations Manager for the Group. Before joining Atlas Copco, she held several leading communication roles in both private and public sector.

Commenting on the development, Mats Rahmström, President and CEO of the Atlas Copco Group, has said, “I’m very happy to welcome Sara as the new Chief Communications Officer. She is an appreciated and engaged colleague with solid experience and strong capabilities. I look forward to having her on the team.”
