As per the meeting held on 14th March, 2022 for change in Directors, Johnson Controls – Hitachi Air Conditioning India Ltd., has announced that Shalini Kamath has been appointed as an Independent Director of the company. Her term of appointment will be 1st April, 2022 to 30th September, 2026.
Kamath is a Management Graduate from Edinburgh Business School, UK. During her career, she has worked with leading companies like Chevron Texaco, Star Group and KPMG.
Currently, she runs her own consultancy by the name of SK Associates, and does CEO & Leadership Coaching. Kamath also works in the area of Leadership Development and Diversity initiatives across organizations. She was conferred with ‘Iconic Woman Creating a Better World for All’ by Women Economic Forum in 2017. She was also awarded as Women Entrepreneurship Award in the field of Management by Bharat Nirman in 2017.
