Schneider Electric’s Altivar HVAC Drive family…

Schneider Electric has unveiled its new Altivar HVAC Drive family, including the ATH200 and ATH600. Engineered to deliver over 30% energy savings, improved system uptime, and seamless integration into modern Building Management Systems (BMS), the range brings higher efficiency, smarter operation, and built in protections for demanding HVAC applications.

The new drives support a wide spectrum of environments, from commercial buildings and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) built equipment to mission critical facilities such as hospitals, airports, and data centres. The lineup combines smart connectivity, robust protection features, compatibility with sustainable refrigerants, and cybersecurity ready performance. The ATH200 is optimised for OEMs and compact HVAC equipment, helping shorten engineering cycles while meeting new sustainability standards. The ATH600 is perfect for mission-critical and high-performance  buildings that require advanced control, continuous operation, and deeper system integration.

With HVAC systems playing an essential role in maintaining airflow, temperature stability, and overall building performance, the Altivar HVAC Drive family helps organizations ensure reliable operation across diverse conditions. Capable of operating from −10°C to 60°C, the drives withstand mechanical, thermal, electrical, and environmental stress.

Designed for future ready performance, the drives offer IEC 62443 4 2 Security Level 1 cybersecurity certification, secure firmware integrity checks, and upgradeable firmware. With A2L certification and A3 refrigerant readiness up to 25 horsepower, they support today’s low-global warming potential and next generation refrigerants used in modern chillers, heat pumps, and HVAC systems.
