Toshiba Carrier Corporation (TCC) has announced the upcoming launch of its updated energy-saving wired remote control (RBC-AMSU52) for commercial air conditioning systems, scheduled for April 2023. TCC is a part of Carrier Global Corporation, the leading global provider of healthy, safe, sustainable and intelligent building and cold chain solutions.
The updated product features enhanced functionality and ease of operation. The new features promote efficiency in administrative and maintenance. A smartphone can be used to easily operate the equipment and obtain and share information on the product. In order to expand support functions for on-site settings at the time of equipment installation, the energy-saving remote control adopts a Bluetooth module for the first time, making it possible to operate from a smartphone using e-Remo+®, an exclusive application. In addition, the operation screen features improved readability with a new liquid crystal display and freshly arranged display contents.
