Could you briefly introduce your company and the product line that Fergas currently offers?
We are a globally established company headquartered in Sweden, with a strong legacy spanning nearly 80 years. Over the decades, we have built extensive expertise across a diverse range of market sectors, delivering high-quality fans and impellers tailored to varied applications and customized engineering solutions. Among these, the HVAC sector remains a core focus for us, playing a pivotal role in our portfolio as we continue to innovate and provide reliable, efficient air movement solutions for modern environments. In India we are based out of Chennai in the South of India.
Could you highlight some of the products that you displayed at ACREX 2026?
We showcased a comprehensive portfolio of products, featuring a diverse range of forward-curved and backward-curved wheels designed to meet varied performance requirements across applications. In addition, we presented an extensive selection of cross-flow blowers, available with AC, EC, and DC motor configurations, offering flexibility, energy efficiency, and adaptability to different system needs.
What would be your target sector for these products?
Our primary target sector for these products is HVAC, which continues to be a key focus area for us, encompassing a wide range of applications and system solutions. At the same time, our portfolio extends beyond HVAC to serve several other important sectors. These include heating applications, as well as both commercial and residential appliances, where efficient air movement is essential. Additionally, we cater to the automotive industry, including specialized solutions such as seating ventilation, ensuring comfort and performance across diverse use cases.
Could you highlight any cutting-edge technologies or advancements that you are currently using with your products. And how do you stand out from rest of the market?
One of the key innovations that sets us apart is our patented “Key rivet” technology, originally developed in Sweden by our founder. This advanced solution enables material optimization during the manufacturing process, resulting in significantly lighter impellers and fan wheels without compromising on strength or performance.
In addition to the design innovation, our production methodology is highly efficient and built around fully automated robotic manufacturing lines, ensuring precision, consistency, and scalability. The integration of design and manufacturing excellence allows us to deliver products that are exceptionally well-engineered.
As a result, our fan wheels are not only lightweight but also inherently balanced due to their precise construction, eliminating the need for additional balancing processes. This combination of innovative technology, advanced automation, and engineering precision creates a distinctive advantage, enabling us to stand out in the market with reliable, high-performance, and efficient solutions.
Could you mention about any ongoing project developing?
We are particularly excited about the ongoing development of our backward-curved wheel product range. Our team is currently working on a new-generation design, developed in close collaboration with our customers to ensure it meets evolving application needs. This upcoming range is being engineered to comply with the latest global standards, including the ERP 2026 regulations, reflecting our commitment to sustainability, efficiency, and future-ready solutions. We are especially enthusiastic about introducing this new portfolio to the Indian market, where we see strong growth potential and increasing demand for advanced air movement technologies.
