The Chemours Company (Chemours) has elevated its current Chief Operating Officer (COO), Mark Newman, to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective from July 1, 2021.
Newman is to succeed Mark Vergnano, who has served as President and Chief Executive Officer since the company’s foundation in 2015. Newman joined Chemours in 2014 as Senior Vice President (SVP) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
